6068 – La Grange Park
This kitchen started out as a racy black and red dream from the 1980’s. The owners desired a softer space for their LaGrange Park ranch. For more freedom within the room, we removed the peninsula that came from the sink wall and replaced it with a small island.
By opening up the exterior wall with a window-filled bay area, we brought in more light and created a space large enough to accommodate a kitchen table. Beyond the windows, we built a lovely outdoor patio complete with pergola for alfresco dining among the flowers.
